Complementary and Monochrome colour palettes.

This may seem like a little bit of a random post, but I was talking to my boyfriend about interior design and I couldn’t help but get obsessed with complementary and monochromatic interior designs, and I’ve just realised now how amazing they look.

I think without noticing at first we see colours together that look fitting and then we realise they are complementary colours, colour theory is something that is becoming more obvious and important to me now than it ever has, and I really want to make specific design pieces using these kinds of palettes or at least use them as part of development in my final practice works.

Plus, I’m pretty sure monochromatic colour palettes are a creative trend for this year?

So, we will be seeing some work inspired by the colour palettes above! Never thought I’d be inspired by interior design but here I am.
